Gillette All-Stars Win 2017 Wyoming State Majors Tournament

2017 Gillette MajorsCongratulations to the team from Gillette for winning the 2017 Wyoming State Majors Division Tournament (ages 11-12) on July 29, 2017, in Laramie, Wyoming. They now advance to compete at the Western Regional Tournament to be held August 6-12, 2017, in San Bernardino. Good luck as you go on to represent Wyoming at the Western Regional Tournament!

 

 

2017 Cody All-Stars MinorsCody All-Stars Win 2017 Wyoming State Minors Division

Congratulations to the All-Stars team from Cody for winning the 2017 Wyoming State Minors Division Tournament (ages 9-10) on July 29, 2017, in Laramie, Wyoming. This is the fourth year in a row that the Minors Division has been won by a team from Cody. Way to go, guys!

 

 

2017 Wyoming District 1 & 2 Tournament Results Are In!

2017 Powell All-Stars JuniorsThe 2017 Wyoming District 1 & 2 Tournaments have concluded. Congratulations to all participants for a job well done! The Juniors Division (12-14) winner, Green River (pictured) will advance to the West Junior Regionals in San Jose, California starting August 2, 2017. The winners of the Minors (8-10) and Majors (10-12) Divisions will now go on to compete in the Wyoming State Little League Tournament beginning July 26, 2017 in Laramie. Good luck!

 

 

Beloved Wyoming Volunteer Lee Martinez Loses Cancer Battle

Lee Martinez was a main stay among Little League VOLUNTEER Umpires in Wyoming for half of a century. He was looking forward to his 50th year of umpiring in 2017. In 1982 he umpired at the Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California. In 2012 Lee was selected to receive the "Chris Wood Sportsmanship Award" at the Wyoming District 1 Tournament. Jacob Olheiser Receives Ed and Charlotte Fish Perpetual Award

The Riverton Girls Softball Manager, Jacob Olheiser, was selected to receive the Ed and Charlotte Fish Perpetual Award as the manager who best exemplified the spirit of Little League during the 2016 West Regional Little League Girls Softball Tournament held in San Bernardino. This is a very prestigious award for which he was honored. Jacob is also responsible for bringing Little League Girls Softball back to Wyoming this year. Thanks for all your hard work, Jacob! Riverton All-Stars Softball Majors Team Advances to Regionals

2016 Riverton Softball Majors Division All-Stars (ages 11-12)Because they are the only softball league in Wyoming, the Riverton Softball Majors Division
All-Stars (ages 11-12) will automatically advance to compete in the Regional Tournament at Little League West Region in San Bernardino from July 20-30, 2016. Congratulations to all the great players who made the All-Star team!
